In the
early 1990s we had ideas. Ideas became processes, processes became
forward-looking inventions, which made it possible to influence the
substances contained in liquids by means of superfine oscillations.
After
having conducted extensive tests we succeeded in not only reproducing these
oscillations but also in storing them in carrier materials and
releasing them again – the crucial breakthrough was achieved. Successful
field trials followed. Then, in 1996, the Merus GmbH was founded. Today, the company has
40 employees and if the current trend continues, this number will increase
further soon. Our goal is to develop and to
market ecological high-tech products and processes. Our definition of ecological high-tech is achieving
maximum results for the environment and our customers while using a minimum
of raw materials and energy. The result: several thousands of satisfied
customers.
Over the
first years Merus was primarily used for homes. Then satisfied customers
used the devices in other fields of application. Thus the range of customers of Merus has changed by and by and today the devices
are predominantly used in industrial applications. In the late
1990s it was only logical for Merus to also offer the products abroad. In a
very short time we managed to build an almost worldwide network of dealers.
Problems with water are a great deal bigger in some regions of the world
than they are in Central Europe and Merus is met with interest. Today, an
export share of over 70% and steady growth result from this.
Numerous
new fields of application and developments add to our market and Merus is
capable of entering entirely new lines of business and markets.

make sure that Merus is able to maintain
